What Do I Need?

Our model is pretty simple.  We bring the staff, the equipment and lots of fun.

However, there are a few things we do ask you to provide to ensure a safe and fun camp.

Children

A great camp experience starts with lots of excited campers!  We ask you to recruit and register 60-100 campers for your SportsLife camp.  All camp options are geared for children entering grades one through five.

Camp Coordinator

We ask for one point person from the church to coordinate and prepare for a SportsLife Camp week.

Volunteers

We ask that each church provide adult volunteers to assist our staff coaches in their week of SportsLife Camp.  SportsLife requires each church to provide a minimum of one volunteer for every six campers that are registered. All volunteers are required to pass a national/multi-state criminal background check.

Registration/Insurance

As a church, you will be collecting registrations and payments from all campers in advance of camp. We require that all churches hosting a SportsLife Camp provide a copy of their liability insurance prior to their week of camp.  We also ask that each church have volunteers available to provide transportation in the event of any medical emergencies.

Facilities

Your church is expected to provide the facilities for your SportsLife Camps week.  We do NOT require that churches have gymnasiums or full-size soccer fields. Our staff are trained to be  flexible, with the space provided. Over the past four years we have worked with many different size churches. If you choose basketball as a main event, you must provide hoops. Call our Service Center to answer any facility specific questions.
